Hydrotherapy
Hydrotherapy is a great way to exercise, especially if you have an injury or condition making land-based exercise hard.
Clients usually require an initial assessment first to determine their suitability and requirements for hydrotherapy.
We deliver our hydrotherapy services individually (1:1) or in small groups (2-4 clients).
Who could benefit from Hydrotherapy services?
- Early-phase rehabilitation after surgeries.
- Clients requiring light resistance, non-impact exercise.
- Neurological conditions and post-stoke clients
- NDIS clients including children
- Asthma clients who find the environment of the pool reduces symptoms
What are the benefits of Hydrotherapy versus land-based exercise?
- Water’s buoyancy reduces joint pressure, making movement easier and less painful.
- Hydrotherapy can alleviate pain by relaxing muscles and improving mobility.
- Warm water therapy promotes healing by increasing blood flow to injured areas.
- The calming effects of water can help reduce stress and anxiety levels.
Hydrotherapy services are available for all our clients and can be claimed through RTWSA claims, CTP claims, Medicare and private health funds.
